As a Data Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making and strategic initiative at yad2. Your primary focus will be on leveraging data to identify growth opportunities, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver valuable insights that align with our business objectives
This includes:

Develop and articulate a clear data strategy aligned with the overall business objectives, ensuring that data initiatives are purposeful and contribute to the company's success

Partner with various business units and departments to understand their unique data needs and challenges, facilitating effective communication and ensuring data solutions are tailored to specific business requirements

Foster a collaborative and empowering environment for the data team, providing guidance on data-related projects to deliver impactful outcomes

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data projects, ensuring timelines are met and resources are allocated efficiently

Present complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders, enabling them to grasp the significance of the insights and make informed decisions

A minimum of 1 year of experience managing cross-teams, with business awareness

Ability to think beyond the requirements requested, understand the value of them, and challenge them when necessary

Hands-on experience defining technical specifications and managing projects from conception to completion

Experienced in working on AWS related compute, storage, and processing (S3, Glue, Dynamo DB, Athena) - An advantage

Vast SQL experience, along with a solid DB understanding and experience with big-data environments

Work with Business, Strategy and Product teams to unlock and understand both vision and direction, while aligning data solutions that can support and boost it

Guide and steer the Data Team’s (Data Scientists and Data Engineers) work, projects, priorities and execution - to deliver high-impact datasets that address business, product, and client needs and opportunities
